The commemorative event on the occasion of 30 years since Tbilisi Massacre (April 9, 1989) was organized in Tallinn by the Georgian Embassy in Estonia and Georgian Diaspora Umbrella Organization “Kartuli Sakhli”.
The event was held in the premises of the European Commission representation in Estonia on April 16, where guests had a chance to get acquainted with the photo exhibition of tragic events of April 9, as well watch the video material on the subject.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Estonia Ms. Tea Akhvlediani, Director General of the Political Department of the Estonian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lembit Uibo, Representative of Diaspora Organization “Kartuli Sakhli” Iasha Kurshubadze and Head of the European Commission Delegation to Estonia Keit Kasemets addressed the audience.
Representatives of the Estonian parliament, state agencies, and diplomatic corps accredited in Estonia, as well as members of Georgian diaspora attended the event.
