Programme of cultural cooperation between Estonia and Georgia signed in Tbilisi

 

At a ceremony today in Tbilisi, Georgia, Programme of Cultural Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia and the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia for 2017-2020 was signed. Indrek Saar, the Estonian Minister of Culture and Mikheil Giorgadze, the Georgian Minister of Culture and Monument Protection, took part in the ceremony held at the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.

Celebrating Mother’s day

 

On March 4, the Georgian community organization in Estonia, “Kartuli Saxli”, celebrated Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is celebrating in Georgia since 1991, when it was introduced by the first president of Georgia Zviad Gamsakhurdia in 1991.

International travel trade fair in the Baltic region, Tourest 2017

 

On 10-12 February the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Georgian region of Adjara will participate in the oldest and largest international travel trade fair in the Baltic region, Tourest 2017, which will take place in Tallinn at the Estonian Fairs exhibition centre

Lecture at the Tallinn Technical University

 

On November 11, the Georgian community in Estonia, is organizing  a lecture on the topic “AIDS, the epidemiological situation and challenges in Estonia”.  Lecture will take place at the Tallinn Technical University and will be given in English by Ms. Kristi Rüütel, who is the head of  the Infectious Diseases and Drug Monitoring Department, at the National Institute for Health Development. The lecture starts at 12 am, room SOC – 209
