The event on August 18 in Tartu

 

The Ministry of Culture and the Integration Foundation of Estonia are pleased to invite 2-3 participants from our umbrella organization to a meeting with colleagues from Estonian umbrella organizations that actively work in the field of culture and education!

The event will be held on August 18 in Tartu, in the Estonian National Museum.

The purpose of the event is to get to know each other’s activities, establish contacts and develop possible cooperation.

Football match

 

In connection with the 100th anniversary of the Independence of Republic of Estonia, with the initaitive of Georgian Community in Estonia and with support of Government of Tarvastu Municipality, the friendly match between the  FC Tarvastu and community members of “Kartuli Sakhli” will take place on July 1st, 2017.  The match will start at 16.00 pm

Concert on the occasion of the INdependence day of Georgia

 

On the occasion of the Independence Day of Georgia (26 May 1918), Georgian Community Organization in Estonia “Kartuli Sakhli”, requests the pleasure of your company at a concert, in the Estonian History Museum Great Guild Hall (Pikk 17, Tallinn) on Sunday, 28th of May at 18.00-20.30.

The concert is organized in cooperation with  Kalevi Kammerkoor (Chamber Choir Kalev) and Georgian ensemble “Mamuli”

Programme of cultural cooperation between Estonia and Georgia signed in Tbilisi

 

At a ceremony today in Tbilisi, Georgia, Programme of Cultural Cooperation between the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Estonia and the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia for 2017-2020 was signed. Indrek Saar, the Estonian Minister of Culture and Mikheil Giorgadze, the Georgian Minister of Culture and Monument Protection, took part in the ceremony held at the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection.

Celebrating Mother’s day

 

On March 4, the Georgian community organization in Estonia, “Kartuli Saxli”, celebrated Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is celebrating in Georgia since 1991, when it was introduced by the first president of Georgia Zviad Gamsakhurdia in 1991.

International travel trade fair in the Baltic region, Tourest 2017

 

On 10-12 February the Department of Tourism and Resorts of the Georgian region of Adjara will participate in the oldest and largest international travel trade fair in the Baltic region, Tourest 2017, which will take place in Tallinn at the Estonian Fairs exhibition centre

Lecture at the Tallinn Technical University

 

On November 11, the Georgian community in Estonia, is organizing  a lecture on the topic “AIDS, the epidemiological situation and challenges in Estonia”.  Lecture will take place at the Tallinn Technical University and will be given in English by Ms. Kristi Rüütel, who is the head of  the Infectious Diseases and Drug Monitoring Department, at the National Institute for Health Development.
